Licensing is a separate pathway and agreement for those seeking formal authorization to practice with PTU methodology under PTU brand standards.Licensing is not automatic. It may require additional review and a separate agreement.PTU licensing is not a state or government license.

Why certification does not guarantee paid work

PTU maintains standards and protects the people we serve. Opportunities depend on institutional needs, timing, role fit, availability, and demonstrated competency in real facilitation, coaching, and leadership contexts. Certification confirms you meet the PTU standard. Paid placements are offered only when there is a matching need and the right fit.Certified participants can earn in three primary ways:1. PTU facilitation or coaching opportunities as they arise, standards and fit dependent
2. Independent practice using PTU methodology, including the optional licensing pathway under agreement
3. Organization adoption (B2B), where an employer sponsors certification and leaders apply frameworks internallyNot for those seeking guaranteed paid work or placement without completing certification.

PTU expects certified and licensed leaders to uphold:‣ Human dignity and respect

‣ Ethical communication and non-coercive practices
‣ Responsibility and integrity in leadership
